Bulletin Board

Good morning,

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is a federal government department that is committed to ensuring the responsible management and development of sustainable resources and clean technologies, including across the energy, mining, and forest sectors.

As Canada advances towards a net-zero future, fights climate change, and positions itself to become a global supplier of choice for clean energy, resources, and technologies, NRCan is committed to hearing from youth in Canada.

In support of these commitments, NRCan is excited to recruit youth to participate in the 2024 cohort of its Youth Council. As a forum for discussion and interaction between youth, NRCan officials and the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, the Council aims to be an inclusive space where youth perspectives on national priorities can be voiced and exchanged.

NRCan is recruiting individuals between the ages of 18-30 from across Canada. Over the next two years, the Youth Council will participate in training sessions and meetings with the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources and senior officials.

The application submission deadline is Wednesday, January 3, 2024, 11:59 pm PT.

We would appreciate if you could share this exciting opportunity with your organization, network and interested youth.

For additional information, we invite you to check out the NRCan Youth Council website. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

Thank you for your support in sharing this opportunity!

Kind regards,

NRCan’s Youth Council Secretariat
