The UUWA builds worker power by helping members work together to obtain fair benefits, better wages, as well as a safe and healthy workplace. When members stand together workers gain more rights and power in their workplace by serving as a counterbalance to management.  The UUWA also fights for members rights during disputes and disagreements with management to create a fair and secure workplace.
